LAHORE ( Web News )
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that the people of the country are facing the punishment of government’s incompetence.
Expressing concern over the shortage of urea and the problems faced by the farmers, Shehbaz Sharif said that smuggling of DAP and urea should be stopped.
He added that the people are being punished for government’s inefficiency and thievery. The concerns of the farmers of the country are not being fulfilled. The smuggling of fertilizers and their sale in black has spread all over the country while the government has no role to play. He said that the exploitation of farmers should be stopped.
President PML-N further said that when the price of urea are higher in the world market why the government did not take the initiative of stopping its smuggling? Why no advance arrangements were made?
The opposition leader went on to say that the shortage of urea is a consequence of incompetence and inefficiency of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s rule while the mismanagement and corruption has become party s hallmark.
Lack of urea means reduction in agricultural production which will lead to new problems, he reiterated.
