Nine soldiers embraced shahadat and four others got injured when a Pakistan Army vehicle met an accident and fell into a Nullah in Shaujabad in Bagh area of Azad Kashmir early on Sunday morning.

According to ISPR, the injured have been evacuated to Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi. Funeral prayers of all Shuhada were offered at Mangla garrison.

Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and military officials attended the funeral prayer.

Bodies of the martyrs will be sent to their native towns and buried with full military honours.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss the precious human lives in an accident to military vehicle near Bagh area of ​​Azad Kashmir.

In a statement on Sunday, Shehbaz Sharif said the nation salutes to the martyred sons, who were performing their duties while defending the motherland. The Prime Minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the soldiers injured in the accident.
