Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed the hope that development of Rekodiq Gold and Copper mine will play a significant role in socio-economic development of the country.
This he expressed during his meeting with Chairman Senate Mir Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani in Islamabad on Monday.
The Chairman Senate thanked the Prime Minister for the successful conclusion of the agreement with Barrick Gold Company for development of Rekodiq gold and copper mine in Balochistan.
Defense Minister Pervez Khan Khattak, Minister for Naval Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail along with members of National Assembly from Sindh also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday.
The members included Aftab Siddiqui, Saif-ur-Rehman, Ataullah, Akram Cheema, Fahim Khan, Aslam Khan, Alamgir Khan, Abdul Shakoor Shad, Captain (retd) Jamil Khan, Aftab Jahangir, Saima Nadeem and Nusrat Waheed. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar was also present in the meeting.
The lawmakers expressed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The meeting also discussed development projects being carried out by the federal government in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Member of National Assembly Ghulam Bibi Bharwana called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and expressed full confidence in his leadership. She appreciated the ongoing government policies of the government for public welfare.
