Kashmir rally organized in Islamabad to condemn Indian atrocities in IIOJK & express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people

Kashmir rally was organized in Islamabad on Thursday to condemn Indian atrocities in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people. The rally was carried out under the leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry and was attended by leaders of all political and religious parties of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally was taken out from National Press Club Islamabad and culminated at D-Chowk.
A large number of people from different walks of life participated in the rally and raised full throated slogans in support of Kashmiri people. The participants of the rally were also holding flags of Azad Kashmir and placards.
Addressing the rally, Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people will not go in vain and they will see the dawn of independence.
Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said rallies will also be held in other cities as well as abroad to highlight Kashmir dispute at the international level. The AJK President said Modi is a terrorist and his evil designs against minorities stand exposed.
AJK Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi said the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir stand by the valiant people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir
He urged the international community to take cognizance of the dire situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that resolution of the lingering dispute is important for regional peace and security.
The rally was also attended by former prime minister AJK Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, ex-PM AJK Sardar Atique Ahmed Khan, former president AJK Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, former Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir, Opposition Leader in AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, PTI AJK President and Senior Minister AJK Sardar Tanveer Illyas Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Khalid Mahmood Khan, former Emir JI AJK Abdul Rashid Turabi, President Jammu Kashmir People’s Party Sardar Hassan Ibrahim Khan, President Pakistan People’s Party AJK Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Hurriyat leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mirza Shafique Jarral, Abdul Hameed Lone, Maulana Saeed Yousuf, Maulana Imtiaz Siddiqui and other leaders.
