Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Sirajul Haq has said the nation is fast losing its faith in system as all the basic pillars of state are under termites’ attack.

The concepts of accountability, delivery of justice and rule of law were no longer exists, Sirajul Haq said while addressing Seerat Conference at Mansoorah on Friday. Sirajul Haq said the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established the State of Madinah on the basis of true justice and he first of all presented himself for accountably. But, he regretted, the powerful always stood above of law in the country which had been achieved in the name of Islam.

“A society’s destruction is written on the wall when the courts will start making decisions under someone’s pressure and accountability becomes ineffective and toothless.”

He said the PDM and the PTI were the sides of the same coins, holding the both responsible for the problems of Pakistan. The establishment, he said, played equally worst, taking sides of political parties and backing them to come to power. The JI chief said the nation must stand against the status quo forces and start struggle against corrupt system.

Sirajul Haq said Pakistan’s economy and ideology were under attack under a conspiracy. Western powers, he said, wanted to damage the sole atomic Islamic power and the rulers of Pakistan were largely acting as their pawns. He said destruction to the national economy was due to the ill-conceived IMF-backed economic policies. He said the laws including the transgender act and so-called domestic violence bill were introduced to destroy the norms of Islamic society. Now, he said, some lobbies were plotting against the article 62 (one) (f) of the constitution. He said the JI would protect the Islamic values of the society. He said the JI would continue struggle against the interest-based economy, appealing the people to vote for the JI to bring Islamic revolution in Pakistan.
