Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that rulers have always been bowing down before everyone except Almighty Allah.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing Khatam-e-Nubuwwat Conference at Dir Bala stadium on Sunday.

During the address, he said the rulers of our country routinely bow before anyone but they don’t bow down in front of Almighty Allah and added the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are guards of status quo. He said the Jamaat isn’t at fight with anyone but it is putting its efforts for the enforcement of Allah Almighty’s system.

Some people involved in act of usury and banks in the game of currency under the aegis of government are basically hatching conspiracy for destroying the country, he said, and added the role of banks in devaluation of rupee is very shameful.

The government and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) instead of playing role of spectators should take prompt action against them as this is a heinous practice and with this they squeezed billions of rupees from the masses, he said.

He further said that the government should take its petition back pertaining to safeguard of riba system and head forwards towards enforcing Shariat Court’s verdict.

Jamaat-e-Islami has fought this case against the riba system for 19 years, wherein the decision came in its favour while against the riba system, he said and added Riba is like waging a fighting against Almighty Allah and his Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

Whereas government appealed to the Supreme Court that it is allowed to run the country’s system on the basis of riba system which reveals that it wants to carry on its war against Allah and his Rasool (SAW) for 20 years further, he deplored.

The emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the entire nation turned down the Transgender Act and added the transgender community should be given all those rights which a common citizen of Pakistan enjoys.

Transgender community rights in terms of employment, allowances, education, and health should be given, he said, and suggested shortcoming in current acts be removed by complying with amendments brought by the Jamaat-e-Islami.

“Jamaat always remained alert to safeguard the basic belief of Finality of Prophethood and added from this justified stand we will never back track,” he said and revealed the conspiracy of appointing Ahmadis on significant positions had come to fore.

Sirajul Haq said that inflation made the lives of people unbearable as prices of flour, sugar and other daily-use items became beyond the reach of common citizens while on the other side the rulers are passing their lavish lives at the cost of poor masses of the country.

The recent catastrophic floods affected more than 30 million people while it rendered 1 million people homeless, he said, adding thousands of girls and boys were rendered orphans but still the rulers are not learning a lesson.

If God confers upon an opportunity to the Jamaat-e-Islami; it will introduce Islamic economy system instead of interest-based system where everyone will be provided with his rights which ultimately will bring real prosperity in the country, he concluded.
