List of 1,800 defaulters including ex-PM Imran Khan presented before PAC in helicopter case
Names of Asad Qaiser, Reham Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Abrar-ul-Haq, Shahid Masood, Javed Chaudhry, Imran Riaz, Arshad Sharif also included in list
PAC orders NAB to take prompt action against those who caused loss exceeding Rs 6.03 billion to national kitty

A list of 1,800 defaulters including ex-prime minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan was presented before Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Thursday, in helicopter case, causing a loss exceeding Rs 6.03 billion to the national kitty.
The PAC meeting held here with Noor Alam Khan in the chair directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to recover this money from the defaulters forthwith. List includes names of Imran Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Amjad Khan Afridi, Asad Qaiser, Awn Chaudhry, Faisal Javed Khan, Reham Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Iftikhar Durrani, Abrar-ul-Haq, Dawar Khan Kundi, and others.
According to details, Imran Khan used Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s helicopter for 137 times and he is defaulter of more than Rs 70 million while Jahangir Khan Tareen three times, Reham Khan two times, Shah Farman 32 times, Amin Aslam Khan 10 times, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai nine times and PTI leader Iftikhar Durrani 9 times, Sikander Hayyat Khan Sherpao used helicopter for seven times for personal purposes. Likewise some journalists and prominent personalities also misused helicopter which incurred heavy losses to the national exchequer. Anchorperson Arshad Sharif two times, anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan 5 times, Javed Chaudhry two times, senior anchorperson Dr. Shahid Masood three times used the helicopter.
In the past this aforementioned case was sent by PAC to the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but till now no action was taken in this regard. While now PAC has sent the list of defaulters to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Meanwhile the committee also recommended taking action against the facilitators of 840 fake degree holders of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and those who inducted them.
It was also revealed during the proceedings of the committee that spurious documents were sent to Accountant General of Pakistan Revenue (AGPR) in purchase of illegal arms by the Airport Security Force (ASF). Authorities of ASF revealed before the committee that action was taken against the five employees including two officers and continued that names of officers were sent to the General Headquarters (GHQ) for further action on the matter.
During the proceedings of the committee meeting, Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Rai Muhammad Tahir revealed that degrees of 840 PIA employees were found to be bogus and expressed his concerns that the relevant boards and universities had also verified those bogus degrees.
