Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi conducted mock flood drills in Rawal Dam with the participation of Civil Defense, PDMA, WASA, Rescue 1122 Volunteers, Scouts and other concerned agencies. The purpose of conducting mock flood drills is to assess the interaction between the concerned agencies, flood preparedness and assessment of their capabilities. Performed best in practical exercises such as medical first aid, swimming and diving. Additional Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Muhammad Abdullah, Regional Emergence Officer Dr. Abdul Rehman, District Emergence Officer Rescue 1122 Kamran Rashid, Incharge Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Murree Sibghat Ullah, Azra Shahid Incharge Rescue Training Wing Rawalpindi, Focal Person Rescue 1122 Kashif Lodhi, MD WASA Raja Shokat, Deputy Director WASA Umer Farooq, District Health Officer Dr. Hooria Mohsin, Pakistan Forecast Department Imran Aslam, Civil Defence Officer Ghulam Mustafa, RWMC Area Manager Officer Haris Murtaza, District Council District Officer Zulqarnain inspected the mock drills.
District Emergencies Officer, Rescue 1122, Kamran Rasheed brief to the special guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Muhammad Abdullah about the equipments used in Rescue 1122 in case of any emergency and also informed him about the details of said equipments. He also said that Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi would be on 24-hours alert to deal with any flood situation during the monsoon and it is a part of the daily scheduled exercises of Flood-Exercise Rescue 1122, Rawalpindi. He further said about Rescue 1122 Slogan whether it is day or night wind or storm earthquake or fire accident tragedy Rescue 1122 is always ready to serve the people,The help of Allah Almighty is involved then INSHA ALLAH Rescue 1122 in case of any emergency situation, Rescue 1122 will ensure the safety of life and property of the people.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Muhammad Abdullah reviewed the Flood mock exercises 2022 and appreciated the performance of Rescue 1122, Rawalpindi Officers, Officials and other agencies by conducting such mock flood prevention exercises 2022 , precautionary measures against flood prevention and loss of precious lives can be prevented. Expressed full confidence in the readiness of the people and appreciated the efforts of the youth of Rescue 1122 and declared Rescue 1122 as an asset of the nation.
