Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Sirajul Haqhas said that those who brought the PTI into power are no long with the ruling party.

Addressing the meeting of Milli Yakjehti Council at Mansoorah on Saturday, Sirajul Haq said the prime minister announcement to gather the PTI workers in Islamabad during voting on no-confidence motion could create dangerous situation and political crisis.

The MYC leaders, a conglomerate of different religious and political organization, met to discuss the prevailing situation under the chair of the council president Dr AbualKhair Muhammad Zubair.

The meeting expressed concern over the prevailing crisis and political instability and made it clear that the only way forward to stop foreign interference in Pakistan’s internal issues was the nation’s self-reliance and enforcement of the system based on the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. The meeting said the US interference into Pakistan’s affairs was unacceptable to every citizen, asking the nation to stand united to protect the sovereignty of the country.

Sirajul Haq said that it was an open secret that Pakistan remained under the influence of the US and west for decades. Every ruler, he added, made submission before the Washington directions. He made it clear that the JI had always opposed the US meddling in Pakistan affairs. He said the PTI government also made surrender before the international lending agencies working on the behest of the US. He said Pakistan’s economy was virtually under the control of the IMF and the ruling party’s ill-conceived polices made it possible. He said the prime minister be-fooled the nation in the name of Madina state. He said the nation must stand united to challenge the conspiracies against the country. He said the tested faces and parties were not solution to the problems rather it needed able, honest and dedicated leadership. He said the JI was struggling hard to transform Pakistan into Islamic welfare state.
