Purposed national govt would not be solution to country’s problems: Sirajul Haq

MENGORA

Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has believed the purposed national government by the opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will not be a success and solution to country’s problems.

The only way forward to end political instability was the fresh elections, he said while addressing a public rally in Mengora Swat on Monday.

The politicians, he said, must stop creating further division among the masses. He said he proposed the PDM and the PPP leaders to agree upon the fresh polls and asked the PTI the same. He said the JI was not the part of opposition alliance or the PTI and it would contest polls under its own flag and electoral symbol. He said the three parties failed to perform even after ruling over country for years. He said the country needed real change as the already tested faces would no longer a solution.

He also suggested the prime minister should resign before March 31 to avoid further humiliation. He said the PTI government failed to deliver and bring any change. He said mafias made billions of rupees during PTI four years rule and the prime minister could not keep his words to introduce strong system of accountability. He said the prime minister be-fooled the masses in the name of Madina state.

Sirajul Haq said the JI demanded the free and fair elections. The masses, he said, were the real custodians and they should be provided to choose their representatives through independent elections.

The JI chief said the people were disappointed from the PTI, the PML-N and the PPP. He said inflation, lawlessness, corruption and unemployment were the trademarks of the PTI rule. He said the government made a flop show in Islamabad on Sunday on state resources. He said the government lost the confidence of people.
