Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the National Assembly Speaker is custodian of the House, a role which requires him to be neutral and above party affiliation.
In a statement issued on Sunday on twitter, Shehbaz Sharif said that the given his conduct and statements, Asad Qaiser has come across as partisan and heavily tilted in favor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). There is a huge question mark on his role and probity.
“NA Speaker is custodian of the House, a role which requires him to be neutral & above party affiliation. Given his conduct & statements, Asad Qaiser has come across as partisan & heavily tilted in favor of PTI. There is a huge question mark on his role & probity” Shehbaz Sharif tweeted on Sunday.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Shehbaz Sharif along with party leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Marriyum Aurangzeb met with MNA Mohsin Dawar at latter’s residence in Islamabad. During the meeting political situation of the country was discussed.
