Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that we are giving deadline to Imran Khan that he should step down prior to tabling no-confidence motion by opposition. He said that if Imran Khan has confidence in masses then he should dissolve the assembly and should compete while coming in masses and should allow the masses make the decision. He said that the preparations of opposition are continued and if Imran Khan did not resign and dissolve assembly then we will table no-confidence motion while reaching Islamabad.

Former special assistant to the prime minister Imran Kahn, Nadeem Afzal Chan formally rejoined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Sunday. He announced rejoining PPP during a joint press conference with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Lahore.

On the occasion Bilwal Bhutto Zardari while welcoming Nadeem Afzal Chan in PPP said that this is good news for whole People’s Party, adding that I am inviting all the people who in anytime including Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto or Benzir Bhutto raised the slogan of jeay Bhutto or raised the party flag at his home should rejoin the party. Bilawal Bhutto said that all the workers jointly will carryout struggle for the party. Bilawal Bhutto said that becoming part of again PPP by Nadeem Afzal Chan is the proof that there is need of new vigour and zeal to deal with the economic situation created by Imran Khan. He said that currently all parties are making efforts that we should hold free, fair and transparent elections so that a public representative government should be formed which should ensure the resolution of the masses problems.

Bilawal Bhutto said that we will continue our struggle for the restoration of the democratic, human and economic rights of the masses and with the Blessings of Almighty Allah we will succeed.

Bilawal Bhutto said that we are listening the statements of Imran Khan from last three years and he is habitual of taking u-turns, adding that Imran Khan is sitting on the ruling chair today and his duty is to rule the country and I am in opposition and my duty to carryout the opposition of the government. He said that due to the opposition of PPP and other opposition parties’, government is under severe pressure and biggest challenge in front of them is no-confidence motion. He said that already we defeated government in the Senate and National Assembly and will defeat them in future too.

Bilawal Bhutto said that our brother Nadeem Afzal Chan has returned back in party and we will jointly struggle for the country and masses and common people and backward areas of the country and we will succeed.

Bilawal Bhutto said we will take this democratic war in the parliament and will use the democratic weapon against this undemocratic person and will certainly succeed. He said that the majority of Imran Khan in parliament is not organic and this is inorganic majority, which has been imposed on us, adding that no-confidence motion is the obvious procedure to remove the prime minister, adding that no confidence against the government is such a tool which shakes the whole government. Replying a question, Bilawal Bhutto said that success of the no-confidence motion is a difficult task and it is not an easy task but we will have to struggle, adding that we are adopting this extreme step to come out of the crisis. He said that no one could guarantee 100 percent success and if we will continue waiting for 100 percent guarantee then this excess will remain continue, adding that success and defeat is in the hands of Almighty Allah.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan’s history tell us that the past role of the establishment did not remain neutral, adding that the examination of this neutrality is coming in next few days and when no-confidence motion will be tabled then we all will see who is neutral and who is not neutral. Bilawal Bhutto said that today (Monday) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif are meeting and they will finalize the matters of no-confidence motion, adding that according to my opinion we should have to take action both against prime minister and speaker national assembly.

Bilawal Bhutto said we will reach Islamabad in just two days. He said that the role of the government allies will be very important in no-confidence motion, adding that government members are in contact with PPP, JUI-F and PML-N and may be more people will be in contact with PML-N as the PM candidate will be from PML-N. Bilawal Bhutto said that we could succeed along with the government members but if the coalition parties support us then our chances of success are near to certain. Bilawal Bhutto said that we are hopeful that the institutions will remain impartial and neutral and no institution could become disputed for any single person.

Responding another question, Bilawal Bhutto said that you must not try to create a dispute between the PPP and the PML-N and we all are struggling for a greater cause. On the question of Dharna he said that our intent is to fight democratically and if there is no hurdle in the long march then we will not need to take extreme step. The government members are joining us and if allied parties support us then the success will be near to certain. The government is trying to make the institution disputed our demand is neutrality from the establishment. He said that if I give the list of government members supporting us in the no-confidence motion then Imran Khan will make them missing persons.

Former prime minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sherry Rehman, Barrister Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan, Shazia Ata Marri and other PPP leaders were also present on the occasion.
