Sheikh Asif Idrees, President, Rawalpindi Small Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has congratulated Sohail Altaf, Group Leader, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, on joining FTO as Chief Adviser, saying that it was a bridge between the business community and FBR. We will play our full role in creating an atmosphere of trust between the tax department and the traders. We will use our abilities to establish a good relationship between the business community and the federal tax ombudsman.
He expressed these views while addressing the function. Vice President Wasiullah Akram, former President Sajid Hassan Butt, Executive Member Tariq Jadoon, representatives of Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Group Leader Malik Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, Sheikh Hafeez, Arshad Awan, Sharjeel Mir and others were also present on the occasion. Sheikh Asif Idrees congratulated Rawalpindi Chamber President Nadeem Rauf on the occasion and said that joining Federal Chamber of Commerce Group Leader Sohail Altaf as Chief Adviser FTO in Islamabad is welcome. We are grateful to Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah for appointing Sohail Altaf as FTO Chief Advisor to the entire country and especially to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. By increasing the number of taxpayers and expeditious redressal of the grievances of the taxpayers, they will fully represent the traders.
