Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, President of the Standing Committee on Political Electoral and National Affairs has welcomed the conditional reinstatement of 16,000 government employees by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on the basis of human rights and said that the Supreme Court should also facilitate, on the basis of human rights, the families of the missing persons and the affectees of Nasla Tower Karachi.
Liaqat Baloch said that wherever human rights are being violated in the country, it should be stopped by the power of law and justice. Lack of law and justice is leading to rebellion, lawlessness and intolerance and extremism. Double standards of justice are creating hesitation for the judiciary itself. Liaqat Baloch said that Imran Khan’s government is a combination of incompetance, uncapability, mismanagement, arrogance, bad governance and mischief. After the rise in prices of sugar, flour, ghee, petrol, interest, loans, corruption, bribery, incompetence and corruption have created the worst gas crisis in the country. Domestic consumers are suffering from severe cold.
Liaqat Baloch said that the burden of unbearable production costs on industry and trade has increased. The government is responsible for inflation, unemployment, mismanagement, corruption and bribery. The government’s economic team is just a show piece, in practice the worst conditions with the IMF have taken control of the national economy. Military dictators, Bhutto family, Sharif family destroyed the fate of the country, Imran Khan is a step forward than the past rulers in destroying the country and nation due to his incompetence.
Liaqat Baloch said that the constitutional, democratic way is for the government to approach the people for a fresh mandate instead of blackmailing its members, its allies and destroying democracy, parliament and state institutions due to its incompetence, failure and mismanagement. Do introduce uniform and empowered local government system in all provinces across the country. The local government system has been paralyzed due to incompetence, inactivity, interference of provincial governments and bureaucracy. Electoral reforms must be brought about by national consensus for an empowered local government system, transparent and fair elections, and the political democratic forces must repent of being rigged and used as a tool for electoral fraud.
Liaqat Baloch welcomed that the OIC meeting in Islamabad and said that the foreign ministers of Islamic countries should declare victory of the people in Afghanistan and recognition of the Taliban government, raise strong voice for restoration of frozen assets of Afghanistan, give package of economic aid to the Afghan people.
