Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the government should form independent commission to probe Sialkot incident. He said that the commission should carryout investigations into the incident and government should take some steps in light of these investigations.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Sirajul Haq said that no individual enjoys the right to move forward and punish someone without any arguments, evidence, court or witnesses of institution, adding that who will accept that you level allegation against someone in the room and punish him by your own. Sirajul Haq said that it is our point of view that the state, government and courts should fulfill their responsibility, adding that at the same time it is also our stance that the individual has not been given the right by Islam to award punishment in this way. He said that in State of Madina and during the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) no such punishments were awarded without court, state or government.

Sirajul Haq said that Almighty Allah did not tolerate the tyranny against the humanity in any form, adding that the human being is a big a thing, even the Islam did not tolerate tyranny against an animal. He said that both Islam and country were defamed in the result of Sialkot incident, adding that mistakes are committed everywhere but it did not happen that the person who levels allegation awards punishment himself. He said that if anyone has committed crime then the court is present, institutions are present, government is present and system is present, adding that this person should go there and report this thing, prove this, present his arguments and then the system of punishment for this kind of incidents is present in our law.

Sirajul Haq said that we should have to stop this kind of incidents collectively. He said that no Muslim could tolerate the disrespect of religion, Quran and Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), adding that unfortunately in our country the state and government did not fulfill their responsibility and sometimes the people take law in their hands, adding that if any individual, state or government takes action regarding punishment of the accused extra judicially, we are against such acts.

Sirajul Haq said that in our society there is no law, no judicial system, no patience, no argument, adding that to make the society sophisticated we should have to ensure the rule of law.
